PROF. DR. AZNI IDRIS | SUPERVISORY OFFICER
Professor Dr Azni Idris graduated from the University of Birmingham, UK (Chemical Engineering), Leeds (MS Pollution Control) and Newcastle upon Tyne, UK (Environmental Engineering). His academic expertise is in environmental engineering including wastes, water and wastewater treatment and management. He is very active in research and holds position as the Leader of Green Technology and renewable Energy research at UPM and leads many large research projects especially with National Sewerage Company of Malaysia, Indah Water Konsortium Research and wastewater projects funded by government of Malaysia.
He has more than 33 years experience on wastewater research and treatment processes, and he has been very active in many consultancy projects (waste management) providing technical expertise in environmental design and treatment technology for many industries. He also has several professional affiliations of international status in the area of water and wastewater and has earned many local awards for his work.

NOORAINI MD ISHAK | SUPERVISORY OFFICER
Nooraini Md Ishak has over 38 years of exposure in the investment and financial industries, having worked across both private and quasi-public sectors. Career stints include serving Maybank Group, Permodalan Nasional Bhd and Permodalan RISDA Bhd.By virtue of these stints, she has gained in-depth experience in the fields of investment analysis, portfolio management and equity trading. She obtained international exposure as a Cross-Border Consultant when she relocated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, advising Middle East clients on business opportunities in Malaysia. Upon her return to Malaysia she joined a Saudi Arabia based asset management company as Vice President (Malaysia).
She specializes in business development and investment management, and is adept at identifying commercial opportunities to develop business initiatives. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Ohio University.

ROHANI DATUK MOHD SHAHIR | CHAIRMAN
Rohani Mohd Shahir is a Co-Founder and Chairman of Khadijah International Waqf (L) Foundation, Founder and Principal Consultant of HIJRAH Wealth Management Sdn Bhd, and life member of the Association of Bumiputera Women in Business (Peniagawati). 1981 saw her graduating from Sydney University in Australia with a Bachelor of Economics. She started her career as Manager of Sabah Bank Berhad, followed by a role as Accounting and Financial Controller with American Express Sdn Bhd. From there she joined Abrar Group, an Islamic Financial conglomerate, where she moved up to the post of Managing Director. She became a shareholder in Hijrah Unit Trust Management Bhd and launched Malaysia’s first shariah-compliant women unit trust scheme, named ASNITA.
She has authored 7 personal money management books and has become a media celebrity in the field of personal finance. Her expertise led to her appointment on the editorial team of newspapers, television and radio.

DATO’ SERI PROF. DR. NOOR INAYAH YA'AKUB | COUNCIL MEMBER
Dato’ Seri Prof. Dr. Noor Inayah Yaakub is the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chancellor of Kolej Universiti Antarabangsa MAIWP (UCMI) and Chairman of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad. She serves on the boards of Amanah Raya Berhad, Penang Halal International, Kitab Pulau Pinang, Yayasan Wakaf Malaysia, and Yayasan Islam Pulau Pinang, and is a member of the Majlis Fatwa Negeri Pulau Pinang.
She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Manchester, an LLM from the University of Bristol, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Shariah Law and Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia. A qualified Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and Syarie Lawyer of Negeri Sembilan, she has over 20 years of academic and professional experience in Islamic Law, Syariah and Conventional Banking Law, Takaful and Insurance Law, Equity & Trust, and Business Law and Ethics.

MAZLINA SAIDI | COUNCIL MEMBER
Mazlina Saidi is a highly experienced human capital specialist with deep expertise in organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement. Renowned for her strategic vision and empathetic leadership, she excels in crafting HR solutions that align with business objectives while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Over the years, she has held key HR roles in leading organizations, including Allianz Malaysia Berhad, Axiata Group Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad and Cagamas Berhad, where she contributed to transformative people strategies and organizational growth.
Beyond her corporate career, Mazlina is deeply committed to social causes. Through her leadership roles in organizations such as Kumpulan Ibu Bapa dan Sokongan Kanak-Kanak Kanser (KIDS) and various support groups, she works tirelessly to support cancer patients, empower women, and expand access to health and education—initiatives that reflect her unwavering compassion and integrity.

PROF. SR. DR. WAN MAIMUN WAN ABDULLAH | COUNCIL MEMBER
Prof. Sr. Dr. Wan Maimun Bt Wan Abdullah has over 40 years of experience in Construction Industry as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and trainer. Among some of her other held positions include: Board of Director, Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd, Director, Khalid Ahmad Architects, President, Women in Construction Industry Malaysia, Vice President, Association of Construction Project Managers, Committee member, Construction Industry Law Centre, Panel of Evaluators, Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia and Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS), Adjunct Professor University Sarawak Malaysia, Certified Trainer, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
She was also awarded the Construction Leading Lady by CIDB, Malaysian Surveyor Award by RISM and the Gold Medal Award by PAQS.

PROF. DR. ENGKU RABIAH ADAWIYAH BINTI ENGKU ALI | COUNCIL MEMBER & SHARIAH ADVISER
Professor Dr. Engku Rabiah Adawiah Engku Ali is a Professor at IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She obtained her LLB (first class honors), LLB (Shari’ah) (first class honors) and Masters of Comparative Laws (MCL) from the IIUM. In 1998, she was conferred with PhD in law from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. Currently she teaches post-graduate students at IIiBF. Her research interest is in Islamic capital market, Islamic banking and finance, Islamic insurance or takaful and Islamic law of transaction.
She had also served as a member of Shari’ah Committee to many financial institutions in the past. Currently, she is a member of the Syariah Advisory Council of Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), Securities Commission Malaysia, Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA), Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and an independent Shari’ah Advisor for Islamic securities (sukuk) issuance, approved by and registered with the Malaysian Securities Commission.

PROF. DR. ZURINA SHAFII | SHARIAH ADVISER
Prof Dr. Zurina Binti Shafii is a Professor in Islamic finance at the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and a research fellow at USIM’s Islamic Finance and Wealth Management Institute (IFWMI). Her areas of expertise include Shariah Compliance Audit, Islamic Wealth Management, Islamic Accounting and Halal Management. She received her first degree in Accounting from University Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and later obtained her Master’s degree and PhD both in Islamic Finance from Durham University, United Kingdom. She was awarded ACCA Professional Level Certificate and a Certified Islamic Financial Planner.
Prof Dr. Zurina delivers trainings on shariah governance and audit, Shariah risk management and Islamic banking, finance and takaful fundamentals and advance modules to multitude of organisations organised by training providers such as ASAS, IBFIM, BILIF, Amanie Academy and Muamalat Interactive Game (MIG) Training and Consultancy. She is also one of the founders for a series of Muamalat Interactive Game (MIG) board games and mobile apps.
